July is officially here, and it’s already turning out to be a massive month of changes, incredible music, and community spirit around the studio.
First things first: if you’ve tried to visit our old digital home recently, you might have noticed things look a little different. We have officially moved!

I completely rebuilt the site from the ground up to make it a cleaner, high-value hub for independent musicians. Go check out the new look and explore the fresh layout when you get a moment.

Holding the Line on Studio Prices
Normally, July is the month of the "dreaded annual adjustment." It’s the time when businesses crunch the numbers and adjust their rates to match last year’s inflation.
And let’s be honest - everything out there is getting ridiculous. Between soaring fuel prices at the pump and endless economic headaches, independent musicians are getting hit from every angle. It’s harder than ever to fund a recording project right now.
So, I’ve made a decision:
Mix Artist Studio will not be raising prices this month.
I want to give our local musos a well-deserved break. The studio rates are staying exactly where they are because I believe the world needs great music right now more than ever, and a tight budget shouldn't stand in the way of your art.
If you’ve been sitting on a project, waiting for the right time to book a tracking or mixing session, this is your sign.
